Hi,

I think I found a small bug in this method (Squeak port):

cdate := Date newDay: 1
		monthNumber: aDate monthIndex
		year: aDate year.

should be replaced with: 

cdate := SpDate newDay: 1
		monthNumber: aDate monthIndex
		year: aDate year.
